Questions
The questions people ask first.
Plain answers about the practice, the reading and the book.
- Who is INKOSI Global for?
Accomplished women at a turning point. You are the one people bring the hard thing to, and you have been for years. Somewhere in there, being the woman who handles it stopped being a strength and started being a room you cannot leave. You would rather do the work properly than manage how it looks while you do it.
- Who is it not for, yet?
Anyone who wants a fast visible shift. That isn't what happens here, and promising it would be the exact performance this practice stands against.
- Who is Carly Lewis?
The founder of INKOSI Global. A master executive coach for eighteen years, working with founders, partners and senior leaders inside real organizations under real pressure. She holds a Harvard JD and MPP, and she is the author of THE RECOGNITION, book one of the INKOSI Quartet.
- What makes this different from other executive coaching?
The order. Most of the market sells the glow up front: visibility, presence, executive brand. It skips the slow stretch where nothing is visible yet and nobody is impressed. That stretch is not a delay before the change. It is the change. This practice does the interior work first, so what shows up later is real rather than performed.
- What is the GLOWTH Reading?
A reflective diagnostic. Ten reflections, about four minutes, five on growth and five on glow, scored separately, because the gap between them is the whole diagnostic. It names one of four states: the Threshold, the Banked Fire, the Bright Surface or Radiance. Before you begin, you pick one thing you are trying to change and answer about that alone. Take the reading.
- What are the four movements?
Recognition, Alchemy, Clarity and Embodiment. Each one is a question. Recognition: what mask have I been wearing? Alchemy: what am I running from that might help me? Clarity: if I weren't proving anything, what would I create? Embodiment: how does my body know when I'm performing? R.A.C.E. names the four movements. GLOWTH names where you stand within them. Beneath them sit seven frameworks and twenty-one documented patterns, built across eighteen years.
- What is THE RECOGNITION?
Book one of the INKOSI Quartet, by Carly Lewis. It is about what it costs to be excellent at a version of yourself you have outgrown, and what becomes available when you stop. It is not a workbook. A second edition publishes on Monday 18 January 2027, alongside book two, THE ALCHEMY. About the book.
- Is executive coaching the same as therapy?
No. Coaching works forward, on what you want to change in how you lead and live. Therapy treats what hurts, and it is the right place for anything clinical. Many women do both, at different times. The longer answer.
- When can I work with Carly?
The practice opens on Monday 18 January 2027. Until then, nothing is offered and nothing is sold. The way in is the reading: ten reflections, about four minutes, and a position rather than a score.
- What if I am not ready?
Then that is the answer for now, and it is a real one. If you're ready, here's the door. If you're not, that's information too.
- Does Carly speak to organizations?
Yes. Keynotes and working sessions for leadership summits, women's conferences, senior offsites, L&D and talent audiences, ERGs and executive teams. The talks run 45 to 60 minutes, 90 minutes with conversation, or a half-day leadership session, virtually or in person. Speaking.
The GLOWTH Reading
Ten reflections, about four minutes. Growth and glow are scored separately, and you get back a position rather than a score. There is no wrong result. Where you land is information, not a verdict.
